The idea was simple, but unprecedented: to create an event that celebrated deep equity work happening all over the Portland-metro region. An event that is future focused, inspiring, and fun.
The concept was born when a group of Portlanders got together last year with one mission. To celebrate the best organizations, individuals, chefs, and winemakers who infuse equity in everything they do. To find a way to bring all the equity partners together, under one roof.
TASTE PDX is a premier food and beverage event supporting and honoring people and organizations engaged in advancing inclusion and equity in the Greater Portland area. This year is its inaugural year.
From James Beard finalists like Gregory Gourdet, Peter Cho, and Katy Millard, to the region’s premier winemaker and brewers like Adelsheim Vineyard and Breakside Brewery, TASTE PDX is a collective partnership of thought leaders and change-makers in the region making a statement on equity.
May 31, 2019 will be a night to remember. We invite the media to attend to cover this groundbreaking event. Kali Ladd and Joth Ricci will be available for interviews.
