Oregon Health & Science University issues 33 patents in the last year, and made $12.8 million worth of industry-sponsored research agreements.

The year before, only 12 U.S. patents were issued, according to the university. The number of inventions submitted by OHSU researchers is running steady at about 120 per year.

Along with its 81 research agreements with industry, the university also signed 144 non-disclosure agreements with private companies concerning research.
