CoversOregon Business magazine has won 12 awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, including first place in the General Excellence category. The 12 awards by the Oregon and SW Washington chapter include nine first place honors in the magazine’s circulation category of non-daily news publications with circulation greater than 8,000.

At the awards dinner Saturday night in Portland, Managing Editor Ben Jacklet took five awards, including three first place honors. Art Director Jon Taylor Carter took two first place awards, and Editor Robin Doussard received one first place award.

The magazine’s category includes the Portland Business Journal, Willamette Week and the Portland Tribune, among other non-dailies in the state.
