PORTLAND – On June 13th Mayor Charlie Hales will attend nonprofit organization Dream Change’s inaugural Love Summit and will introduce one of its keynote speakers, Dan Wieden of Wieden+Kennedy advertising agency.
The Love Summit is an innovative conference that brings together renowned business, government and thought leaders to explore the missing link in sustainability education: compassion.
Dan Wieden, along with fifteen other renowned speakers, will demonstrate how using compassion as the basis for all personal, business and government decisions can lead to greater happiness, reduced social and environmental stress, and more prosperous businesses.
Other speakers include John Perkins, New York Times bestselling author of “Confessions of an Economic Hit Man”, Freddy Ehlers, Ecuador’s Government Minister of Buen Vivir (Well Being), and Dan Price, CEO of Gravity Payments, who has recently been featured on the TODAY Show, Larry King Now, CNN and NBC for disrupting the inequality payment discussion by raising the minimum salary for each one of his 120 employees to $70k, and cutting his $1M salary down to $70k.
Bring your boss, bring your employees, bring your colleagues and bring your friends. Seats are limited. Tickets are available at www.dreamchange.org.
