The Occupy Wall Street movement is coming to Portland today, but the goals of the protests are still unclear.

Occupy Portland, the local arm of the fast-growing nationwide protest against what organizers say is corporate greed and corruption, will meet at Tom McCall Waterfront Park near the Burnside Bridge at noon and then march through downtown starting at 2:30 p.m. 

Protesters plan to settle into a place afterward to camp their demonstration, which could continue indefinitely. 

Disruptions are all but certain today. Protesters have declined to get a permit to stage a march, and police and transit officials warn traffic could be impeded through the afternoon and rush hour.
