Business people near the Klamath Falls airport want another flight to Portland to make their commute easier.

[Trey] Senn, executive director of the Klamath County Economic Development Association, regularly travels north to make business pitches or meet with policymakers and fellow economic advocates.

But with just one flight to Portland out of the Klamath Falls airport at 9:30 a.m., and one return trip in the afternoon, he usually has to stay overnight in Portland when he travels.

That’s why Senn and other community leaders are pushing for the return of a second, earlier flight to Portland, which SkyWest cut last summer by due to the struggling economy.
