The business publication Kiplinger picked Portland as one of its 2011 “Comeback Cities.”
The ranking is thanks to Portland’s growth in the software industry and focus on clean technology.
Kiplinger’s predicted employment in Portland to grow more than 3 percent this year.
The 10 other comeback cities include Seattle, Nashville, Orlando, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Flint, Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Jose.
