Attendance at Portland’s Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show pulled in crowds of nearly 60,000 over five days, despite the economy.

While attendance at the show has held steady, some of the dealers who pay $1,100 for a booth said times have been tough.

“Nobody buys anything,” said Dan Campbell, who sells hunting, fishing and camping expeditions in the Montana mountains. “They shop way harder than they used to.”
