Lane Powell is pleased to welcome Heather Hartley as the firm’s Director of Human Resources.
Hartley will oversee all of Lane Powell’s human resource functions, including development and implementation of policies and procedures; staff recruiting, hiring performance, evaluations and retention; salary and benefits administration; training and development; legal compliance; and employee relations.

Prior to joining Lane Powell, Hartley spent seven years with the City of Seattle, most recently as Senior HR Business Partner, where she managed human resources for four executive departments, including the Mayor’s Office.
Hartley received her M.A. in History from Western Washington University and her B.A. in History and German from the University of Alaska at Anchorage. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional and has completed basic mediation training with King County Dispute Resolution Center.
