Roseburg resident Tim Cummins started Winchester Bay Corral, a business offering $25 horse rides on the beach.
“I'm just here to make a little money and do something I love to do,” said Cummins, who has worked as a commercial fisherman and a timber broker. “This is by far the most fun.”
Cummins, who is sometimes joined in business by his kids, Lilly, 22, and Bo, 19, takes about 20 people riding on the beach per week, which isn't very profitable, he said.
