Fido’s Indoor Dog Park, which includes a coffee shop, wi-fi and a dogs-only pool, has opened for business in a 13,000-square-foot warehouse in Southeast Portland.

Pricing works by the day, month or year, and in different levels of service. A full day’s use of the play area only — without the pool — is $10. Access to everywhere in the place for a month will cost you $275

In true Portland fashion, the business is geared toward sustainability. Most products in the retail store are locally sourced. Local artists’ work adorns the walls. The walls were coated with nontoxic paint. The water in the pool is ozonated and 98 percent free of chemicals. The fake grass is made from recycled materials. Natural cleaner Biozyme is used to clean up urine.
