In her State of the County address chair Deborah Kafoury focused on housing, clean air and immigration.
Kafoury delivered the 2017 address during Portland City Club’s Friday Forum.
In between jabs at the Trump Administration — “I know that many of you today are mad about the state of politics in Washington, D.C. So am I” — Kafoury touted the county’s work to reduce homelessness, her recent clean energy pledge and a $25 million commitment to infrastructure.
