Crook County has hired a local media company to put together a video tour of the county jail, which has 4 cells and 16 beds and suffers from perennial overcrowding.
The video tour is intended to build support for a jail bond measure that will be on the ballot in November.
Officials estimate the total project budget for the new jail will not exceed $17 million and the cost of construction will be $10-$13 million.
