John Kasich left off Oregon Voters’ Pamphlet, despite deal to fight Trump


WILLAMETTE WEEK: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) agreed not to compete for the Oregon primary, and instead handed it over to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, but Kasich doesn’t even appear in the Oregon Voter’s Pamphlet. Instead, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are listed as the Republican presidential candidates.

The Oregon Secretary of State’s Office has confirmed to WW that Kasich did qualify for the Oregon ballot. And he is listed in the pamphlet among the eligible candidates.

But Kasich’s campaign did not submit a statement offering his biography or platform—a massive oversight.
