The Bend-based outdoor company hired a new managing director to run the company’s expanding sites abroad.
Bend outdoor company Hydro Flask announced Monday it has appointed a new officer to oversee the company’s activity in Europe and beyond. David Ledouble, who has previously worked as the director of sales at Black Diamond Equipment Ltd. in Switzerland, has been named Hydro Flask’s European managing director.
Lucas Alberg, public relations manager for Hydro Flask, said the company established a distribution office in Rotterdam, Germany in July to bring its line of insulated stainless steel flasks to other markets. Alberg said Mike Wallenfels, vice president of worldwide sales, had been overseeing the office from Bend since last summer.
