The Eugene-based radio communication network acquired Eden Radio of Salinas, a two-way radio company.
Silke acquired Eden’s customer contracts, equipment, a communications tower and two leased sites, the company said.
“We’ve been looking at Eden for quite a while,” President Jim Silke Jr. said in a statement. “It has a very competent staff and a wonderful long-term customer base with a significant number of users who are looking to transition to the type of cutting-edge network we’ve built.”
