Deschutes County regulators to decide on Widgi Creek development

Widgi Creek and Seventh Mountain Resort communities face three land use proposals.
The three development proposals include plans for nine residential lots near the first fairway of Widgi Creek golf course, eight additional lots nearby and 24 lots on 4.2 acres within Seventh Mountain Resort and Widgi Creek.
…Deschutes County commissioners are expected to make a decision by late April on whether the nine lots can be developed next to the first fairway and on the eight additional lots where a swimming pool is located but no longer in use. A hearings officer denied those proposals last year.
