Knowledge Universe has been acquired by Swiss company, Partners Group.

Knowledge Universe, Oregon’s sixth-largest private company, was recently acquired by a Swiss company, Partners Group.
Partners Group will take over as a new owner and partner of Knowledge Universe’s child care brands.
The company expects no changes with the KinderCare, CCLC or Champions brands, centers, sites or staff. Knowledge Universe’s headquarters will remain in Portland and the executive team is staying.
Knowledge Universe serves 169,000 children nationwide. It was Oregon’s third-largest private company, with $1.4 billion in revenue, in 2013.
