Unitus Announces Amy Olson as Mortgage Lending Manager

The former Umpqua Bank, JPMorgan Chase Assistant Vice President joins Credit Union.
Portland, Ore., June 12, 2014—Unitus Community Credit Union, a Portland-based credit union with more than 80,000 members, today announced the hire of Amy Olson as Mortgage Lending Manager. Olson will lead day-to-day operations and production within the credit union’s mortgage department and help Unitus grow its mortgage lending business in communities across Oregon and Washington.
Olson brings to Unitus more than two decades of experience in the mortgage finance industry. She’s held leadership positions at major financial institutions, including Wells Fargo, Umpqua Bank and JPMorgan Chase. As Assistant Vice President and Regional Operations Manager at JPMorgan Chase, Olson managed mortgage operations for the Northwest Region and led nationally recognized lending teams consistently ranked in the top five companywide.

Olson is active in several professional organizations, including the National Association of Mortgage Professionals, America’s Mortgage Underwriter’s Group and the National Association of Professional Women.
