Farmers have been getting more for their goods. The July 2011 price index for all farm products was up 31% over 2010, with crops up 41% and livestock up 18%. Oregon’s agricultural exports jumped 14% in value for the year ending September 2010 to $1.3 billion, but represented just 10% of California’s and half of Washington’s export values, which rose 14% and 10%, respectively. Oregon’s top exports remain greenhouse/nursery, cattle/calves and dairy products.
