Electricity sold by PGE during the year ended November increased 1.2% year-over-year, and 6.0% versus five years ago. Prices remained far below California and national averages, but above those of Washington, where hydroelectric accounts for about 3/4 of power generated. Oregon’s August power generation grew 9.1% over the prior year, and megawatts from non-hydroelecric renewable sources increased 22.7% to 5.9% of total power generated.
