Iris Tilley Becomes Barran Liebman’s Newest Partner

She advises employers in all aspects of employee benefits, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, retirement plans, compensation agreements, and health care reform.

Iris has been with Barran Liebman since 2009 and is a member of the Employee Benefits practice group. She advises employers in all aspects of employee benefits, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, retirement plans, compensation agreements, and health care reform.

Iris regularly speaks a variety of Employee Benefits topics, the most common of which being health care reform, to groups of 25-800 people. She has also authored Employee Benefits and Employment Law articles for Oregon Business Magazine, the Daily Journal of Commerce and the Cascade Business News. As a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Board, Iris is dedicated to promoting women and minorities in the practice of law.

Iris received her undergraduate degree from the University of Portland and her J.D. and M.B.A. from Seattle University School of Law and Seattle University Albers School of Business and Economics, respectively. She is admitted to practice in Oregon and Washington.

In her spare time Iris enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and her 1-year old daughter, Nora.
