Oregon Business celebrated the 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon winners at the Sentinel Hotel in Portland on Oct. 3.


The evening kicked off with a reception in one of the hotel's splendid ballrooms.

The awards dinner took place in the Grand Ballroom.

Keynote Farres Alkhaiyer, a community services fellow at Healthy Democracy, spoke of his struggles to form a nonprofit that advocates for democratic change in his home country Syria.  Alkhaiyer was subject to death threats and surveillance by the Syrian regime.

Our Hall of Fame award recognizes nonprofits that have been in the list for 10 years. This year’s winners are:

Small category: 

The number one small nonprofit: NTEN
