Lane Powell, a multi-specialty law firm, is proud to announce that eight attorneys in the Anchorage, Portland and Seattle offices have been elected to shareholders, effective January 1, 2017.

Anchorage Office:

Michael B. Baylous is a Chambers USA recognized litigator with a diverse practice involving numerous areas of law, including construction, employment, ERISA, insurance coverage, Alaska Native Corporation contracting, commercial real estate, deceptive business practices, consumer protection, trade secret, mortgage servicing, product liability and personal injury. Baylous received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his B.S. from Pacific Lutheran University.

Portland Office:
Brian T. Kiolbasa concentrates his practice on the representation of financial institutions, businesses and individuals in a broad range of commercial and complex litigation matters. He has experience in all aspects of litigation, from discovery and document analysis to preparing witnesses to testify. Kiolbasa has successfully represented a number of clients in lender liability actions, real estate disputes, bankruptcy litigation, and claims involving premises liability, business torts, products liability and contract disputes. He received his J.D. from University of Notre Dame, and his B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Arizona State University.

Annie L. Robertson concentrates her practice on mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance and governance, venture capital and private equity investments, and fund formation. She regularly advises on corporate, LLC and other entity formation, joint ventures and other transactional matters, contract negotiation and regulatory matters. She is a CIPP/US certified privacy professional, with an expertise in advising clients on privacy-related best practices. Robertson received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law, and her B.S. in Economics, cum laude, and B.A. in Sociology, cum laude, from Central Washington University.
 
Masa Yamaguchi concentrates his practice on antitrust litigation and business law. He has worked on multinational antitrust investigations and class actions as well as licensing and other corporate matters. Yamaguchi received his J.D. from Lewis and Clark School of Law, and his B.A. from Dokkyo University in Japan.
 
Seattle Office:
Tiffany Scott Connors concentrates her practice on trade secret, trademark and copyright litigation for internet, entertainment, software, electronics and consumer products clients. She works on protecting trade secrets for plaintiffs, defending against claims of misappropriation for defendants, and on all aspects of trademark and brand development — from clearance and investigation through trademark registration and management of trademark portfolios. Connors specializes in software license agreement claims, domain name disputes and Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) claims. She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Cornell University.

Kevin D. Jablonski concentrates his practice on patent procurement, copyright and trademark. He has experience with numerous technologies, including digital and wireless communication systems, computer memory architecture, analog and digital control circuits, microprocessors, digital signal processing, computer networking, microelectronic design, computer-related business methods, and interactive software and computer architecture solutions. Jablonski also has a technical focus in the audio arts and audio-related technologies. He received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University, and his A.A. in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Seattle.

Jennifer K. Sheffield concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, class action defense, employment litigation and intellectual property. She represents businesses and other professionals in complex litigation involving claims of breach of contract, consumer protection violations, employment discrimination, infringement of intellectual property rights, professional malpractice, insurance coverage and bad faith, and personal injury. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University.
 
Erin M. Wilson concentrates her practice on class action defense, employment litigation and white collar criminal defense. She represents businesses and other professionals in complex litigation involving claims including wage and hour matters, consumer protection violations and business disputes. She received her J.D. from University of Southern California Law School, and her B.A., with distinction, from University of Michigan.
