Delight 2013, a two-day experience design conference October 7-8 in Portland, has announced a new full-day Digital Strategy workshop featuring Colin O’Neill and Barbara Holmes of ISITE Design.
In the full day workshop, attendees will be taken through a step-by-step framework to help them gain alignment from their business, technical, and customer teams so that they can create digital experiences that fulfill on their brand promise. The workshop will be led by Colin O’Neill, Vice President of Experience Design and Barbara Holmes, Director of User Experience, at ISITE Design.
Colin has over 17 years of digital design experience and plays an integral role in helping clients to connect their goals with user needs, and leads the User Experience and Creative teams in developing memorable experiences that translate to business value. His background includes digital strategy, advertising, marketing and design for B2B and B2C clients including IBM, Kodak, Charles Schwab, LinkedIn and Adobe.
Barbara has 19 years of experience in multimedia instructional design, information design and writing, specializing in technical skills training, print and online content development. She is a tireless promoter of user-centered design and usability research. Her experience includes work for brands like Caterpillar, Pacificorp, KinderCare, Oregon Health and Science University, and MIT.
The full conference pass provides access to the workshop in addition to the second day Main Event featuring keynotes and case studies from beloved brands including Zipcar, Nike, Intuit and Disney. Delight 2013 is part of Design Week Portland, which organizes more than 50 design focused events around the city.
