Gov. John Kitzhaber scored nearly $2 billion in federal funding to overhaul the state Medicaid program for the poor and disabled. In return, the state promised a 2% reduction in the rate of growth in per capita Medicaid spending. Be it fad or future fashion, Google Glass is attracting strong interest in the web development field. Around 80 people turned out at the headquarters of Portland web services company WebTrends last Thursday, reeled in by a presentation on "Developing/Designing for Google Glass."
