“Nova” is in line for at least $1 million from the state, which plans to tap the same subsidy pool it used for Salesforce.com and Oracle, both high-tech companies planning to expand in Hillsboro.
Tim McCabe, who directs Oregon’s economic development agency, said “Nova” would create 220 jobs, with annual wages of $80,000. He outlined the project during a legislative budget hearing Thursday. He told lawmakers that he hoped to make an official announcement within the next two to three weeks.
