Oregon's personal income growth in top 10 in U.S.

Oregon's personal income growth was among the top 10 in the U.S. in 2012, according to data released by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Income from wages, property and other sources climbed 4.1 percent from 2011 to 2012, to a combined $151.2 billion in Oregon. The pace was eighth-fastest in the nation.

Despite the gains, Oregon's per capita personal income continued to lag. At $38,800, it was 10 percent lower than the U.S. average and 33rd among all states.
