RYU makes Portland its HQ

Exercise-apparel brand Respect Your Universe is making Portland its headquarters.

For about two years, the company has been managed in Portland, home to a deep talent pool of apparel and footwear veterans. But its corporate headquarters remained where the company was founded -- Las Vegas.

Now Portland is not only the town where the company is managed but is also where its headquarters are officially located, in an office building at 818 N. Russell St., RYU chief executive David Campisi is expected to announce Wednesday. Las Vegas will remain where the company is incorporated.
