Integra could move HQ

Portland-based telecom company Integra is considering moving its headquarters from the Lloyd District next year.

The privately held company, among the largest corporations based in Portland, says it will look at a number of sites -- including some outside the city -- though it cautioned that it has made no decisions and might stay put. Further, Integra said it won't move out of the greater Portland area.

Integra has 1,760 employees, including about 570 in Portland and another 120 in Vancouver. Its Lloyd District headquarters occupy 120,000 square feet, scattered across multiple floors inside two buildings a few blocks apart.

"We are pretty highly dispersed throughout both of those buildings, and that's really kind of an issue," said Integra spokeswoman Scenna Shipley.
