Providence Health & Services named Dave Underriner its new CEO for the Oregon region.

In his new post, Underriner will oversee 17,500 employees including at eight hospitals, all Providence-affiliated medical clinics as well as home health services. Previously, he served as Providence's chief operating officer for Oregon, and before that held a string of posts with the nonprofit health care provider over the course of 28 years.

Bioscience complex will house six local companies in 2013

From Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute: OTRADI today announced its plans to open and operate a 13,000 square-foot multi-tenant bioscience complex in the Willamette Wharf building at 4640 SW Macadam Avenue.
