Wieden+Kennedy returns to the Super Bowl

Portland-based Wieden+Kennedy returns to the Super Bowl with commercials for Coca-Cola and Oreos. The firm was called "The New King of Super Bowl Ads" by Adweek.

But in the case of Coke, W+K has dreamed up more than mere 30-second or 60-second spots -- though the soda pop will be featured in both formats during the Sunday matchup between the National Football League's Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.

This year, a 30-second, nationally broadcast Super Bowl spot on CBS cost between $3.7 million and $3.8 million, according to AdAge. W+K is the only Portland ad agency with commercials that swim in that big of a pond.
