Portland Auto Show begins 104th year

The Portland Auto Show opened its 104th year at the Oregon Convention Center.

With the average car on the road now around eleven years old, many at the show are using the show as a one-stop showroom.

"The auto show is a reflection of the industry and how the industry has really turned around," said Joe Rohatynski, spokesperson for the Portland Auto Show.

The industry is on the comeback trail. Last year sales reached a five year high, with 14.5 million cars and trucks sold. 2013 is even looking better.
