Vernier Software & Technology will complete its two-story expansion at its Beaverton headquarters by this summer.

Vernier received a five-year property-tax exemption in exchange for spending $2.8 million to expand its facility and hire around 10 new employees over the next five years.

The science-education software company is the first business to be approved under the city's new Enterprise Zone program, which offers three-year to five-year tax exemptions to encourage companies to invest and grow.

Bioscience complex will house six local companies in 2013

From Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute: OTRADI today announced its plans to open and operate a 13,000 square-foot multi-tenant bioscience complex in the Willamette Wharf building at 4640 SW Macadam Avenue.
