Portland startup Giftango sold to InComm

Portland-based Giftango has been sold to Atlanta-based InComm, but it will retain its Portland office.

Giftango, founded in 2005, provided technology to enable retailers to sell gift cards on websites, smartphones and Facebook. It had 150 clients before the deal.

Giftango currently employs 55, 40 of them in Portland. The company said this morning that it plans to hire between five and 10 more workers immediately and continue to grow in the long term.
