Oregon's economy gained jobs in November after a two-month slowdown.

Employers added a seasonally adjusted 600 jobs last month, the Oregon Employment Department said. The unemployment rate edged down to 8.4 percent from 8.6 percent in October.

Private companies added 2,400 jobs; the government shed 800 posts.
