82.8% of Oregon's 2.2 million registered voters returned ballots in the Nov. 6 election.

[Secretary of State Kate] Brown provided the statistics as she certified the results, 30 days after the election.

Registered Republicans returned ballots at a slightly higher rate than Democrats statewide, 87.9 percent to 86.3 percent. Voters not affiliated with a major party trailed at 71.7 percent.
