Oregon company to host Fiesta Bowl pep rallies

Beaverton-based SportsOne was chosen to stage pep rallies for the teams competing in the Jan. 3 Fiesta Bowl in Arizona.

The Fiesta Bowl Committee and the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau selected SportsOne to manage the details and choreography of two rallies the day before the game. Up to 15,000 people are anticipated at each rally, based on past attendance at similar events.

Bowl projections almost universally expect Oregon to be one of the two Fiesta Bowl teams. If Kansas State beats Texas this weekend, the Wildcats would likely be the Ducks' opponent. That is the matchup for which SportsOne is preparing.
