Sealy is closing its Portland mattress factory that employs 128.
Service and price issues are making the company move operations from North Portland to Lacey, Wash.
The factory's cost structure couldn't compete with other Sealy plants, the company said. It operates 25 throughout North America.
Executives of North Carolina-based Sealy first told Portland employees in September that the factory would close. But they delayed the move for two months as they worked with union representatives.
