Beaverton basketball gym uses innovative tech

Beaverton's Shoot 360 has sensors that track a ball-handler's strengths and weaknesses.

The gym mixes a video game culture with what amounts to private sessions with an infallible coach: a computer.

The gym opened in April, and is slowly permeating the youth basketball scene. More than 450 people are members at the gym in a Beaverton business park.

Shoot 360 is the brainchild of Craig Moody, 48, a lifelong entrepreneur and former coach at the high school and college levels.
