The Lane County residential real estate market showed improvement in September from a year earlier.

The average sales price hit $213,600 in September, up 2.5 percent from a year earlier.

The median sales price hit $190,000, up 2.8 percent from a year earlier.

The numbers, which exclude Florence area data, continue a stabilizing and slight rising trend in the market that began in early 2011.
