Leonard made the agreement with the Everyone Deserves Healthy Teeth Coalition, a recently-announced alliance that supports fluoridating Portland’s water to reduce tooth decay. It is compromised of 58 heath, minority, labor, social service and child advocacy organizations. Prominent members include Central City Concern, Children First for Oregon, Kaiser Permanente Northwest, the Latino Network, Legacy Health, the Oregon Dental Association, the Oregon Health & Sciences University, Providence Health & Services – Oregon, Regency BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, SEIU Local 49 and the Urban League.
