Kate Brown launches site for business owners

Secretary of State Kate Brown launched Business Xpress, an informational website for business owners.

The site is designed to be a "one stop shop" for Oregon business, Brown said. If owners need to find registration, change in status, payroll tax or permit and licensing forms, the website supplies direct links to them.

Oregon is the first state to provide a business portal that is task oriented, according to state officials.
