Portland Smart Park rates up 40%

Downtown Portland Smart Park garage rates raised this month to match city meter rates for the first four hours.

Portland's Bureau of Transportation studied a four-block radius around each of the city's six "smart park" garages to determine the new rates.

They now vary from $8 to $15 for all-day parking.
