SoloPower disclosed a $10.7 million round of financing as it hires for its Portland manufacturing facility.

[The facility is] slated to start production of the company's flexible, thin-film solar panels later this year. The company received a $197 million loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy to help finance the facility.

The round is likely an extension of the $7.1 million financing disclosed by the company in May.
