Portland-based Indow Windows closed on a $1.3 million Series A investment.
[CEO Sam] Pardue said the $1.3 million total investment will support Indow Windows’ expansion. The company recently finished building a custom software that dealers can use to automate the process of taking window measurements and submitting orders to Indow’s North Portland headquarters and manufacturing facility.
Indow Windows, which has a strong foothold in the Northwest region, is honing in on the Northeastern United States as a potentially strong market for the company due to weather patterns, high utility rates and a plethora of old homes. Indow Windows, which offers an inexpensive option for improving home energy efficiency by making custom, removable inserts for single-pane windows, is especially popular with owners of older homes.
