A San Diego company that produces environmentally friendly bottled water is coming to the Portland market.
Nika Water, which donates 100 percent of its profits to programs bringing clean water and sanitation to underdeveloped countries, will start selling its water at all seven Laughing Planet Café locations, its first outlets in Portland. Nika claims to be completely carbon neutral and has been certified through Carbonfund.org for its carbon offset programs. The company pledges to plant a tee for every four cases of bottled water sold and works with schools and waste management companies on recycling programs. Read more at Sustainable Business Oregon. |
