Seventeen properties once controlled by Salem-based Sunwest Management are part of a real estate auction this month.
Sunwest’s collection of related companies once controlled a vast real estate empire, but the enterprise collapsed amid cash-flow problems and fraud allegations. Tiffany Jones, a Salem real estate agent who is working with a holding company that is disposing of Sunwest’s former property, said the properties going to auction are among the last in the portfolio.
