Sales for Portland-based Adidas America grew a record 21% in 2011.
North American sales increased 41 percent over two years, said Patrik Nilsson, president of Portland-based Adidas America.
"We are laser focused on executing our U.S. strategic business plan," Nilsson said in a statement.
Nilsson credited the growth in North America to "the success of our lightweight adiZero franchise and our growing Originals business in the high quality mall and sporting goods channels." For the quarter ending Dec. 31, North America sales were up 19 percent.
