Salem-based Ideabox will unveil a new green home design inspired by Ikea at the Portland Home and Garden show.

Jim Russell, founder and CEO of Ideabox, worked with the design team at Ikea's Portland store to come up with the home design, which features energy efficient lighting features and all of Ikea's usual space-saving furnishings.
The Ikea-esque name, Aktiv, is the Swedish word for "active."
The home is compact at 745-square-feet and carries an all-inclusive price tag of about $86,000.
